What does the GC mean if he says he will pay a set fee 'power point'? How does this method of pricing compare to others? Is there something I should be wary of when working under this method?

We usually call this an amount per opening.A 3 gang switch =3 openings duplex recept =1 opening. I do bid this way but the amount is differant for each item.Single pole switch might be $25 duplex branch recepticle 20 FAN ROUGH IN $35 DEDICATED 20amp recepticle $50
The price depends on what the market is.To take everything at one price is a good way to go out of buisness,kind of like a blank check.Best to bid a print and any extras are just that.
