We use paycycle (paycycle.com) It is a web based service. I think it is a good service for a small shop.
We have 4 employees.

I use Paychex for 4 guys. All I do is answer the phone every 2 weeks with my hours ready. They do all the filing, Futa, IRS, state tax dept, state employment commission, make all the deposits, quarterly reports, end of year, W2s etc. The checks come within 2 days. They do garnishments etc. Makes it easy to do bonuses etc. For this I pay ~$110.00 per month, which is a lot. When I was responsible for making my own deposits I some years cost myself that much in fines...10% if you're a day late. I'd have the deposit in my wallet and forget to go by the bank. It's worth it to me for peace of mind and not having to think about it, and just worry about selling and getting work done. It costs a lot to be an airhead, but on the other hand I have no office help to deal with this stuff.

We used Paychex for quite a while. Then our bank offered an online payroll service for less than half the price. It takes a little bit more effort than just reporting the hours to the service when they call, but not much more. It works fine. We're happy with it.

Was that through ADP?
