Peak Demand

I am working on a project at a multi-tenant building and we are adding service for a new tenant. The plan checker is asking me to provide a load study for the whole board not just the tenant.

Do I need to put a meter on the board main to determine the existing peak load or would the utility have that information?

Ask the utility. They often will be able to provide this to you.
