One of the employees here is changing his panel out at home and he has aluminum wire as his main feeds . We have some Burndy Penetrox E in the shop is this product ok to use on aluminum wire ?

I believe that has copper suspended in the compound so I would not use it on AL conductors.

You should look at the instructions on the panel for applying any type of compound.
If the lugs are aluminum and tin plated you definitely do not want to use anything that will cut into that tin plating.
Technically if the manufacture does not recommend a compound to applied on the conductor or lug then it would be a code violation.

Common aluminum conductor alloys used the past ~30 years don't even require compounds to be used on connections. Doesn't typically hurt anything though as long as the compound is suitable for the aluminum and for the connecting device.

Just because the compound has copper particles in it doesn't necessarily mean it can't be used with aluminum conductors either, look at product instructions.

From the spec sheet: Application Copper to copper applications Application - For Use On Copper to Copper
