I'm working on changing out an indoor panel in a residential home. Do I need one of these breaker for microwave or fridge? Also, what type of breaker would I need for bathroom, bedroom, kicthen etc.. I'm talking about type of breaker and not the amperage of breaker. Thanks in advance

I work in commercial setting normally and I've been in trade for a while. Yes, I'm doing this myself and i'm fully capable. Just with new code involving these breakers I was wanting to be sure and install the right type of breakers. Thanks

What does " been in trade for a while" mean? Are you licensed in any way? In Texas to do work for hire you must be licensed as a journeyman and be employed by a licensed electrical contractor.

You need to review 210.12, its too much to post here. Outlets need to be protected and weather to use a receptacle or circuit breaker depends on the type of panel used, availability of devices, and layout of outlets. It you have not done a panel change in a dwelling unit line up a journeyman with experience to help, or you will get some violations on your permit.
And you say new code, a reminder that AFCI protection has been required for 20 years.
