Percentage of Estimates

We are a small electrical contractor in Arizona and mainly stick to residential work. For small to medium projects in homes (not remodels)
what precent of estimates generally do other electricians get? Basically-we are wondering what is a good number of captures. 50%, 60%, 25%?

Most of mine are referrals or previous customer so would be a high #, I'd be worried if bidding against competition if I got more than 20%

1 in 5 is comfortable nationally

Large commercial is around 1 in 10 if you are hard bidding, open competition
