Perimeter wire in conduit

I want to protect the #6 copper perimeter wire that will be placed around an above ground pool. Could I put the wire in pvc pipe or something similar to protect the wire. The wire is near our garden and I don't want someone unknowingly or in the future to damage the wiring. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

If you are referring to the perimiter bonding it should be in direct earth contact. Pool wiring is very critical to safety and should only be done by qualified individuals. If you are not an electrician you should have this addressed by a licensed electrician for your and your family's safety.
