Guys good day! Is it allowed in NEC to install a permanent 480v submersible pump inside a 35kv manhole? thanks!

any NEC violation with this?
As long as the pump is wired with method according to Code for it's location (in a potentially wet/flooded manhole/vault) there would be no violation.
Do you think a 120 volt pump, 208 volt pump or 240 volt pump would be any different? Nope.
The NEC would not address the operating voltage of the pump at all...perhaps unless it is over 600 volts.
Remote possibility of perhaps the POCO (if it's their manhole/vault) or some local requirement may have something to say about it. But I seriously doubt it.
