My state masters license is georgia. I drove a long distance to look at 2 houses ready to rough in electrical. When I got there I realized that North Augusta is not part of Augusta Georgia but is across the river in South Carolina. I told the contractor I didnt think I could pull a permit. I looked on the web site for North Augusta and it says to get permit you must have cirtificate of competency from city of North Augusta, or the South carolina state license board. My question is has anyone here every gone over state line and obtained a permit and how complicated that is .
