Are these self illuminating exit lights allowed to be used in a commercial office space. They claim to satisfy the foot candle requirement. This particular job is a renovation of a two story 50 person occupancy building. In order to comply with fire code exit lighting is required at the floor level of all exits. If these are approved could save a lot of labor especially where exits are surrounded by glass or difficult to get power to. I do apologize if this has be discussed in length prior to this post I did not check.
