Photovoltaic wiring conduit type

Thanks raider. I had someone call me about a photovoltaic system they are helping a EC with. The EC installed everything in schedule 40. Now apparently the conduits have shrunk out of the fittings leaving exposed wiring. Anyone have experience with this? I was looking at 690.31 (A) under the "FPN" . It talks about high temperatures for installation.

It doesen't surprise me as things tend to shrink when cooled and expand when heated.

Any input would be interesting.

pvc's OK if listed for the temp,

If you engineer for record hot/cold + ambient adder
you need an expansion fitting after 5' i upstate NY,
extreme bu necesary.
