Caught out of town without my reference material again. Can anyone quote NEC/OSHA standards for protection of a temporary power skid mounted transformer in a high traffic, high tech/clean room new construction environment and at what voltage, amperage, AIC rating it would apply and what specific remedies would satisfy these requirements??

I don't think voltage, amperage or AIC rating has anything to do with it.

Hard usage cords with standard enclosed transformers would be fine. We use SER and NM for doing this sort of thing.

Certainly 450.(somewhere before 10) applies and I did have more restrictions on an Army Corps of Engineers project. They were more relaxed with spider boxes but still required a minimum height. Transformers required traffic style concrete barriers. I don't recall specifics or what code they cited but it is somewhere.
