Ok, I'm looking at several 20A circuits that once had a breaker in a main panel.
The breaker was subsequently moved to a nearby (other side of wall) four wire subpanel.
Only the hot and neutral were extended over. Of course, nothing was labeled. No GFCI or AFCI.

The question is the ground wire on the original circuit.
Should that be extended to the subpanel also?
The current setup is confusing, but is it unsafe or incorrect? Any ground fault will
get to the main ground either way.

I don't see a problem with it. Are the extended branch circuits in the same raceway as the EG?
The main is a meter main.
There's 8" of conduit to the four wire subpanel.
The branch circuits enters the meter main through the wall as NM cable.
Then, select hot/neutral or just hots have been pigtailed through the 8" conduit to a breaker in the subpanel.
