Call the licensing dept of the county, they'll be able to tell you what code applies and books allowed.
Usually they allow NEC for open book questions, but there's so many variables there, I doubt you'll find anyone who took the Pinellas County JM in the last 6-9 months (I say 6-9 months as things always change, so what someone had 2 years ago, might not be now).
As far as study materials, NEC is a good start. Usually JM exams are pretty easy and strictly NEC oriented.
I just applied to take the Journeyman's test in Pinellas County, Florida. I was wondering if anyone knows what code year it will be tested on (2008/2011?) and what books are allowed during the test. Im also looking for any recommendations on study material for the test.
