Could you provide a little more information on this? I spend part of my time on the sprinkler side of our company, and I have never heard of anyone asking for a conductivity test for the sprinkler pipe.
 
I am not aware of a code required or recommended test. On deluge sprinkler systems for fire suppresssion on large oil transformers at generating stations we require a simple continuity test to verify the sprinkler pipe is bonded to the ground grid. It is a "Ductor" test or Low Resistnace Ohmeter test between the grid and sections of pipe and the supports. A visual verification of grounds and bonding is probably just as good.
