how many round houses fit in a 3\4? i cant realy explain to my boss i did 3
round houses in a 3/4 and my boss said that was wrong .i told him you dont
have to count the neutral to durate when it carys the unbalanced load.

Are you referring to derating? The neutral conductor would not count as a CCC if it meets the criteria of 310.15(B)(4).

That would be my guess. The question is a little confusing since it mentions both pipe fill and derating.

Also we need to know what size and type of wire is being installed. Also what type of Conduit. In Annex C Table C.1 states you can put 16 #12 awg thwn wires in a 3/4 emt or 10 #awg thwn wires in a 3/4 emt . You are required to count all of the conductors in the conduit to determine pipe fill. If you are talking about deration of wires. You only have to count the current carring wires. Table 310.15 (B) (2) (a) explains this rule
