How close can an LP gas pipeline be to an electrical high voltage line and/or pole? What is the regulation and/or law and what is the source for this information?

What do you mean by 'high" voltage?

We have 'HV' and a 'major' gas line in the same utilidor her norh of Vegas. Pipe is somewhere around 24" or bigger, Line has to be at least 345KV I would think (big steel, crosses vast expanse of desert) Unless 9/11 wrote some terrorist proevention quals into the spec's, no one out here seems to think it's much or a risk.

You might consider investigating your project with a corrosion engineer; contact the utility for their requirements while working under their lines; also, there are High Voltage Proximity Act laws to comply with.

During installation of the pipeline there may be some need to limit induced voltages using ground rods.
