for takeoffs and scaling prints, who makes one
that you like? i found the scalex web site, but
i'd like feedback on stuff you are using that works.

Make that three.
Make sure that you buy the one that has the scale lock on it. It might save you from having to redo part of the takeoff if you accidentally change the scale.(This is the voice of experience talking)

I've always used the scale master. I broke the wheel on mine recently, and got one that connects to the computer by USB. I thought that would be nice, but I keep tripping over the cord when scaling the print.
