My plant layout and set up is as follows.
Duke energy from the city comes into a big transformer and steps power down to 480 volts to enter our building...3 phase Delta system...
From the transformer the power enters our building and terminates on a big switch gear 4000 amp main breaker on the switch gear. Then from the switch gear it heals out to feed a 600 amp 480v three phase Delta panel....in this 600amp panel there is a 50 amp breaker that then feeds a step down transformer...primary 480v Delta secondary 120/208 wye 3 phase (transformer)...then this transformer feeds a 200 amp 120/208 wye panel(with 200amp main breaker in this panel)
My question is..
What is the terminology for each part of this system and circuit beginning to end.
Ex. Service ...is the incoming to the switch gear.
Main feeder panel... is the 600 amp 480v delta panel this panel feeds branch circuits of 277 single phase and 480 3 phase...
Sub panel...is the 200 amp120/208 wye panel??? Or is this idenified as a feeder panel. This panel feeds branch circuits...
