It seems to give you a choice as to the use of a raceway.Where a primary protector is installed inside the building, the communications wires and cables shall enter the building either through a noncombustible, nonabsorbent insulating bushing or through a metal raceway.

800.50(C) does not require the use of a raceway. It requires the use of an insulated bushing or a metal raceway. As long as I use the required bushing at the point of entry I do not need the metal raceway. Once I have passed through the insulating bushing, Exception #2 to 800.113 lets me run up to 50' of the outside plant cable within the building.what types of raceway are non-metallic and non-combustible? i assumed anything that wasn't metal was considered combustible.
