a strip mall is doing a maker over for one of its stores.for another type of business . a contractor is taking down the ceiling and will disreguard all the tiles and the channels which support the ceiling.they going to paint the entire ceiling and it will be a open ceiling does plenum rated cable have to be used since the ceiling will not be used for return air anymore the wiring includes fire alarm and communication cables . please site which articles may apply we are in the 2008 code
