Plugging in a PDU to 20-amp receptacle

Trying to find code to reference if allowable or not allowed?
I have a 3 pole 30-amp breaker feeding a L15-20R with #10 wiring. From there we are plugging in a PDU in a data rack that has several receptacles and an internal circuit breaker within the PDU.
Please reference code if able.

What is the rating of the breaker in the PDU?

The single receptacle would need to be 30 amps or larger to be on a 30 amp circuit. Someone will post the code section.

210.21(B)(1) Single Receptacle on an Individual Branch Circuit

A single receptacle installed on an individual branch circuit shall have an ampere rating not less than that of the branch circuit.

What is the rating of the breaker in the PDU?

PDU breaker is 20 Amp

Then why the 30 amp OCPD on a 20 amp receptacle?

The PDU circuit breaker is not relevant. The 30A receptacle needs to be fed by a 30A OCPD.
