Had the utility out today to set a meter , he set the meter, banded it and crimped on his Tag. A check of voltage following and 2 out of 3 legs are dead.........Subsequent beating on the meter with his fist and surprise we are hot on all legs....He smiles and walks away.... How much of a better contact can beating it make and will it support the loads? Whatcha think?

I fixed televisions in the early 60s - highschool money. You would be amazed at how many people think they can make a television better by beating on it.

I like to call it Impact Therapy. Of the various therapies available to you in any given situation, it's usually one of the most satisfying. :)

I'd be hesitant to use my Precision Adjustment Tool

However I do carry a Finite Alignment Tool for alternate scenarios

Should that not suffice, I've also got a big steel bar (bottom one). Usage: open manhole and dispose of offending item

The back of my pickup is truly the devil's toybox... :D
