Okay, I've got a weird one. I have a pole barn that has metal junction boxes mounted on the inside, to the exterior lathing for the metal.
These boxes need to stay as there are fixtures on the outside that are fed from them.
I am now going to put more lathing on the inside of the building to put metal liner up on the walls.
This will leave an almost 7-in gap between the box face and the new inside wall of the shop.
Can I add multiple extension rings to the boxes so that they will extend to the wall and have a cover for easy access (although, 7-in deep and 4x4 box will be a tight fit to dig in, but at least it's accessible).
Any other thoughts?
