Hello,
I am trying to figure out whether or not, I need to install cutout disconnects with my pole mounted transformers. I have a primary line of 4160V feeding the transformers, one is 75KVA and the other is 37.5KVA, and both with 240/120V outputs. Is it required to have cutout disconnect switches with them? If so, what is the range of the current rating for each one that I should be using?

Assuming these are not service transformers...
450.14 Disconnecting Means. Transformers, other than
Class 2 or Class 3 transformers, shall have a disconnecting
means located either in sight of the transformer or in
a remote location. Where located in a remote location,
the disconnecting means shall be lockable, and the location
shall be field marked on the transformer.

The disconnecting means required above must have a current rating not less than the primary rated current.
