Pool 12 volt LED

Can I use 12Vdc for a Hayward 12V LED designed to work off a stepdown transformer? Landscape LED lighting works off both AC and DC. Because the pool light LED I bought cost 600 dollars, I do not want to hook it up to DC and damage it.

You need to get an electrician and let him get the correct transformer. We can't assist DIY on this forum. Also, pools with lights are dangerous, get a pro.
