I was looking through my 2011 NEC on pool bonding and there are some great examples of what needs to be bonded in the Mike Holt videos, but in the pics it looks like all the examples are of permanent inground pools. My question in what do you do about an above ground permanent pool such as a Lomart pool in this link

http://www.lomart.com/resources/brochures/lm.seville.14.lr.pdf

My parents have one like this that was installed in the mid 80's, the pool shell is metal and the supports are metal but the pool liner is some kind of vinyl or rubber, was just curious because back then they did not do all this bonding and i have not seen much info on this type of install, thanks for any feedback any is greatly appreciated.

If the depth of the pool is more than 42" then the pool is installed as a permanent pool. All the bonding etc applies.

I will be running power to two above ground pools 52" depth, vinyl liner , metal shell with looks like plastic coating on outer shell and plastic support legs With the requirement for a ring bond with 4 points of bond for shell . I can not find a point on shell to attach bonding without damaging the coating on the shell . The only point on shell is where skimmer panel is bolted to shell any suggestions thank you

If the pool was intended to be bonded you would think that the manufacturer would have left a way to do so. What do the instructions say ? At the skimmer panel can you install a lug ?
