I'm close to wrapping up my above ground pool project. A friend of mind fabricated me a nice aluminum channel stand and backboard for my GFCI receptacle and timer, I was planning to just use a wooden 4x4. Should I include this stand in my equipotential bonding of the water, pool wall, and pump motor? My receptacles are already in metallic boxes.

If you have your metal boxes bonded, the bond will find its way to the grid via the EGC in the receptacle, to the pump motor EGC, to the housing of the pump motor, and on to the grid.
No other bond to your backboard is necessary.

It may depend on where it is located. Metal surfaces within a certain distance of the pool require a bond connection, and I believe an EGC connection alone does not count.
