Im looking for a fitting listed for bonding the #8 stubs that the foundation company leaves hanging out of the concrete To make my bonding grid out of. Dos anyone know of such A fitting. I have the rebar greavs fittings but were are running it these stubs know. Any help???

#8 rebar? hmm never heard of that. I would assume the op was talking about #8 cu but the question is fairly vague? I am not a pool guy though and would love to see the answer to this with the right info from the op.

That's why I asked, because #8 rebar is an inch in diameter. That would be a little stout for a foundation. #8 copper can be compliantly spliced with Burndy C taps or H taps. That is my preference. If you want to put on a show, you can cadweld it.

The foundation company bonds a #8 to the rebar and leaves a cu #8 stub out of the pool foundation. The code officer Here Said to Use a listed pool fitting. We can not seem to find a listed POOL fitting only ones listed for direct bariel, such as an H tap or a spit bolt. Not looking to get into cad weld.

Thanks

I don't think that you'll find a listed pool fitting. The fitting should be listed according to its usage in the installation. Sounds like the code officer gave you some misleading info.

Those ericos are fine when the rebar is exposed I have those fittings. I guess what the code officer Wanted was a listed firring which would be what has been discussed thus far, In this case I have here the poured foundation company leaves the ladder stub the diving board and wet niche along withe 4 stubs. I was just going to run around the pool using split bolts, which we have in the past, but he said make sure it was a fitting listed for pools, so ill have to call back and double check. Thanks for the help!!!!
