S stullhead New member Location Puyallup, WA. USA Oct 16, 2011 #2 NEC 2008 680.22 (B) Requires the outlet supplying a pool pump .... whether by receptacle or direct connection be GFCI protected. I have not found anything for GFCI protection for the heaters yet.
