pool panel

Can a pool panel be located 6' from the edge of pool, or does it have to be further away? I cant find any sections of 680 that adress this, the closest i got was 680.22 (A)1 which suggests it can but I want to be certian.

Also, can the general purpose GFCI be on the same circuit as the pump motor? Once again i couldnt find anything saying they must be seperate circuits.(120v motor)

I think 680.12 will address the space issue.
If I understand the 2nd part of your question, I would think 210.23 would be applicable.

I see nothing in the NEC that says a panel can't be 6' from the pool. I agree with Gus-- 5' for the service disconnect so a panel could be 5' from the pool. Now underground wiring may be another issue--680.10

I also agree about the recep on with the pool pump. 210.23(A)(2)
