Customer called today with an existing pool that was never completed from last year,
The pool is concrete. It has one place for a light. The light has a 1'' conduit going to the the side of the house with a ground in it. The pipe comes right up besides the pool equipment. On that same wall 33' feet away there is the main panel within sight of the pumps and conduit.
So I should be good with article 680.12.
The pool needs power for the pump (220V) 120 for the light and 120 for the saltwater disco. Is it okay if I run that from the panel 33' ?
Its on the same wall and its within sight.
Or do I need to put a 60amp sub panel? Right near pool equipment?
