In a Health Care facility clinic rated as a "B" occuapacy. Is it ok to have a under cabinet radio with a two prong cord plugged in the procedure room? Should this be three prong hospital grade? In the same Clinic is it ok to use a two prong cord in the exam rooms?

I'm not sure, but I think NFPA 99 may say something about this.

I doubt if it is an issue in the exam rooms, but the OR's I'm not sure about.

It seems like NFPA 99 may have some yearly testing requirements for cords, which may or may not depend on if they are 3 prong or not. But I don't have time to look it up.

You can view NFPA 99 for free on NFPA's website.

How is that for a definate "Maybe". :)
