I want to hook a 7500w/9500peak generator to my service panel. The gas generator will be outside.

My method GE interlock kit.
Nameplate 240v 31 amp
Wire 31x1.15=35.65 #8 copper
Breaker 30amp 2 pole

My confusion
my thought was to disconnect the bonding jumper at the generator being as I will not switch the neutral. Is this correct?

But the generator will be outside. I have myself confused between 250.30-250.34.
The generator does have a mounted disconnect. I was going to hook up to the L14-30R receptacle on the generator please see picture

You'll need an inlet as well. Since the OCPD is 30 amps #10 conductors are sufficient.
Should end up with:
30 amp inlet>30 amp conductors>30 amp 2-pole in panel with generator interlock kit.
Since you're not switching the neutral the system bonding jumper needs to be removed within the generator. Don't forget the required signs in Article 702.
