hey you all i'm looking into buying a little portable generator for a new job i got. I'll be in a basement where is really dark working till late. I've rented this honda eu2000i model in the past to do new services nd used heavy duty sawzalls and angledrills with it and is perfect for the job. i,ve been checking out the honda eu2000i or the generac 2000 watts from Lowe's. Has anybody used them before? What do you all think bout em?
Thanks a lot.

I bought a honeywell generator 2000i , it is an inverter one too, it was less than 400 bucks. i got it on sale at home depot. Its not a honda by any means but a 1/3 of the price it does the job i need.

Buy a Honda, with Generjunk you get what you pay for. Best advice I have been given is: "Buy well, buy once".

I agree, buy the Honda. I have the 2000W model, and it is small, EXTREMELY quiet, and starts without any problems EVERY time. I paid just under $1,000 for mine a couple of years ago, and haven't regretted it for a second.
Good luck.

I've had a Honda EU2000i in the back of my van for 6 years. Use it all the time. Never had an issue. Real quality. Put an hour meter on it so I can track needs for maintenance.
