Hey guys, looking for some input here. I have not yet gotten to deal with anything as far as solar systems go. i recently had a customer request a portable generator inlet and then fell down a bit of a rabbit hole trying to figure out if this is even possible/ legal.

the system is Enphase, iq combiner 3 es, iq combiner 4, and no controller.

my concern is damaging the pv system or the generator itself and not really sure how to proceed.

What you don't want is for the generator to be connected to the PV system. One way to do that would be to connect the PV on the line side of the main panel and to install an ATS or interlock kit between the PV interconnection and the loads.

Two very recent threads on this.
