Looking to purchase a dependable portable gemerator to use on worksites. I know everyone recommends Honda (and they are right) but not looking to spend $1000. Any suggestions?

If you lost a half day or full day worth of productivity because you decided to go cheap, what would that billable time be worth?

I purchased a Honda clone 8 years ago, and it's still running strong. It was 1/2 the price of a Honda.
