720 & 725 addresses less than 50 volts
727 addresses instrumentation , less than 150V, 5A
all of these articles deal with stationary permanant wired systems
i am looking for description of circuits less than 12V, in this case ,max voltage inside the housing is 9V, running off of batteries (DC or course) at 7.2V nom.
presently the design calls for pressurizing the housing with air, to comply with Class1 div2 requirements
i am looking for exceptions to this requirement.
there are switches in this circuit(tact-momentary PCB mounted type) current is only 1/4A running.
there is a fuse, but it is a solid-state resetabble type.(no-arching)
this will be used as a thermal camera to view possible hydrogen fires.
hence the Class1 div2
where should i be looking in the Code, or is there another ansi, IEEE code that would address this issue. ?????
