I wired a shed (40x40) that is used for storage and service of grounds maintenance equipment. This building is packed with lawn mowers, trimmers, gas cans and much more. It is a pole building with metal siding and a 10' drywall ceiling on the inside. I installed the service last year which consisted of a step down transformer, disconnect and 200a panel. My concern is that with the excessive accumulation of gas vapors inside is this a hazardous location? If it is its I don't think the materials or method of installation is legal. I work on a gov. facility and the safety inspector approved this install. Any info and code articles would appreciated.
