Why not just call me in the first place?
GC calls today, they just finished a XXXX brand deck with 12v LED post cap lights (11 of them). Homeowner called him last night and said some lights are working and some are not. I've never installed this product, so I try to get some info.
He's not sure if some caps are partially working or if some are completely out. (I guess each cap has 4 light strips in it)
He's not sure if it's 1 cap and then everything downstream.
Didn't really want to get involved and told him he should check all his connections.
Then he tells me he didn't know they were supposed to be on a transformer and had origionally powered them up with 120 volts.
Wondering if the 120v might have trashed some of the LED drivers?
