I am doing an electrical infrastructure project for a 63 unit apartment building. The building is 208V 3-phase. We are going to transfer the circuits from the old service to the new service. I am proposing new meter banks and switchboards.
So far I'm designing a oneline diagram showing all the loads on the switchboards. One switchboard will be for the meter banks and the other switchboard will be for public lighting and power in common areas.
I want to provide spare switches to the public lighting and power switchboard. Can you guys give me ideas on what future loads the building could potentially have? Technology is constantly changing and buildings may potentially come off gas so maybe electric boilers is one thing that they potentially might have. Maybe cogeneration could be a potential circuit in the future. This building does not have a parking garage so I don't think EV charging stations are a potential load in the future.
