recently i was looking at an outline book that was distributed before a seminar on pools and 680 related material.one of the pictures showed a potting kit used to fill the 1" hole in the forming shell as well as potting kit to encapsulate the #8 lug.i always do the lug but not the 1"wiring hole.is the picture wrong?i am assuming the deck box was installed not less than 8" above water level or not less than 4" above deck.even if this was a flush deck box complying with the conditions outlined in 680.24 A2c wouldn't you use the potting kit in the deck box and not the forming shell hole?
