Presuming that the flammable gas is needed to complete commissioning.

The task of pouring seals can be completed prior or post startup, checkout or commissioning. 500.7(A) requires the seals be poured prior. Are there any industry accepted practices that permit seals be poured after bringing flammable gas and after commissioning?

500.7 offers twelve Protection Techniques. What are 500.7(L) Other Protection Techniques?

Lastly, when does your Company or your Customers pour seals?

We have done a few gas station. We always test all of our circuits and then we poured the seal in. Just make sure you have all circuits in there. Steve

As long as you have all of your circuits in there your fine. If there is a problem with the pumps the company supplying them is their problem. Unless you are supplying the pumps. We have never supplied the pumps. We had to have ours sealed to pass inspection.
