Hey I'm new to this forum.
I know this question been asked many times.
Here is some information, my question is ask in regard of Industrial Machinery Environment.
I have a junction box mounts on a Hydraulic Power Unit and planning on running 460VAC motor power circuit and 24VDC control circuit to this single junction box.
it's a 3hp motor and all wiring and protection method are following the guideline of Article 430.
I like to get a clarification on all requirement needed to run these 2 voltages in the some JUNCTION BOX.

I did some research and was reference to 725.130 reclassify class 2 and 3 circuit as class 1 as following the wiring method
Also Article 800.133 exception to maintain 0.25 inch or using barrier.
What exactly i should do to suffice the code requirement in Industrial environment.

thank you

Article 300.3 (C)(1) also mentioned
Conductors of ac and dc circuits, rated 1000V or less shall be permitted to occupy the same equipment wiring enclosure, cable or raceway. all conductors shall have an insulation rating equal to at least the max circuit voltage applied to any conductor within the enclosure, cable, or raceway.

Now i'm kind of confused when is what applied?....

thank you,

There is a qualitative difference between wires, possibly spliced, only and terminations to a device within the box.
There are also separate requirements for DC conductors that are part of a PV installation.
And different requirements for Low Power wires (Class 1, 2, and 3)
And different, more restrictive, requirements for Data and Communication too.

The general rule is that the rule for a more specific situation overrides the general rule unless otherwise stated.

When you read that section you need to make sure that you read the Informational Note that follows that section. The control system may be a Class 2 or 3 system and the rules in Article 725 would apply in that case.
