I am mounting some audio visual equipment suspended from the ceiling by a pipe. Is there any code restrictions from allowing me to run the AC or DC power code and the data lines (coaxial and phone wire) through the pipe together? Can anyone point me to where I can find specifics on this in the code book?

Re: Power cords and data cables

See section 800.52(A) Seperation from Other Conductors, also 810.52(A). If someone says 300.3(C) allows mixing of conductors if they have the same insulation rating, note that is incorrect and review section 90.3 to see why.
Also you can not run a portable cord or power supply cord concealed by a suspended ceiling (I see this a lot with ceiling mount TV's and projectors). The correct way to supply power is to flush mount a box in the ceiling.
