Power Distribution Boxes

A power distribution box (spider box) for temp wiring is rated for outdoor use. It has flip up covers on the receptacles, not bubble covers. When normal cords are used you can see the blades. Is this box rated outdoor in use? Would 2008 NEC 406.8(B)(1) apply for a temporary use? This situation is where a tent is installed with lights, receptacles, audio/video etc. and will be up for two days. Tent capacity 1000 people.
