Is mostly what I did and still do on a consultancy basis.
Today I was assisting a customer work out controls and preparations for a customer witness test on a 4kA 500V 12-pulse rectifier system. I must say they did a pretty professional job on the construction/assembly. My input was just on technical points.

Ignore the temp test wires.

Yes very nice. I have worked on a lot of control panels. There are a lot of low bid/build panels that meet UL508A but still I would consider poorly done. Some I have had the manufacture come up from California and fix.

impressive

what did they use the 4000 A x 500 vdc for?
~2 Mw, 2500 hp
Thank you kindly,sir.
Metal treatment.
HP really doesn't come into it.

It was just an example of the kind of projects I do.
And maybe explains why I sometimes ask daft questions about what you guys do and ask about your terminology. Just mostly a different field to mine.
Until I posted here RMT, Romex, AWG etc were off my radar.

I have learned much from this forum and, I hope, contributed a little.

Very nice work. Same thing we see here too, until the field guys get their hands in there.
