Thanks for the info Wayne. Sorry for the delayed reply. I was looking more for a heavy-duty engineering reference book so I can "learn myself" on the whole PQ scenario. I want to learn about pf correction, harmonics, harmonic resonance, etc. and how they affect other equipment and the power system.

Any ideas?

Thanks Ed. I hadn't seen that one - it also has a power factor forum board similar to this one. Most online resources are overviews and don't really get that deep into the subject matter.

Kathy, have you looked at the American Electricians Handbook? Or Check with the Electrical Apparatus service Association? :)

Ed I looked at that Imphotonics site very nice and lots of info on power factor.
