By using a VSD (variable speed drive), would the changing of motor speed changes the original power factor for the same motor ?

Measured where?

On the LINE side of the VFD, the PF will stay fairly consistent at around .95 or better regardless of what is taking place on the load side.

On the load side it varies with loading, which may or may not be related to speed. But PF on the load side is irrelevant beyond the VFD itself.

The power factor will change depend on what motor is doing. It could, for example, be pump load.

From your reply it seems no direct relation between p.f and speed. Thanks.
