This may not be the correct place to ask this and if it is not I apologize. I am currently the IT Administrator for a very small school and we are needing to place a printer in a shared hallway but there is no power located where we need it. The hallway has a drop ceiling and I know that its against code to run just a normal extension cord above the tiles to supply power but I was wondering if one of the in wall AV style kits could be used to accomplish it or if I had to bite the bullet and hire an electrician to run an outlet just for a printer.
If my explanation of what I am trying to use doesnt make sense, this is a link to something similar to what I would be using. In Wall Kit
